Task 9: Design your own button!

We currently see a rapid rise in online status symbols.  What started with showing off the number of visitors to one's own blog now also encompasses the number of one's Facebook friends and Twitter followers. Services like Foursquare even depict the movement with badges. Online status symbols seem to reflect the current zeitgeist and indicate one‘s ,wiredenes‘. That‘s why we gave you the LIFEBOOK4Life Insider badge. It shall display your importance for Fujitsu as a brand ambassador to the online world.

But as we are offline from time to time we thought it‘s a good idea if the Insiders could showcase their well deserved status even in real life. =) And that brings us to our second task! We want you to design the first LIFEBOOK4Life button! The only requirement: the button should express your status as a LIFEBOOK4Life Insider.

Here is a our example:



The Top-3-Buttons will then be revised, produced and sent out to all participants!
Soon you can show off your special status to the whole world by affixing your own buttons on your bag, your jacket or favorite cap =)

Please follow these guidelines in the making of your button:

Your draft should be circular, 581x581pixel if you create it via Photoshop or at least 250dpi if you scan your design in.

Please post your button along with a short description to the project-blog until the 11th of march 12:00 (CET).

Awesome Task!!!! thumbs_up.gif Cant wait to see what everyone is going come up with.We have enough time for the tasks as well ...yaaay!!! teeth_smile.gifI wonder how unique my bag's gonna look with 54(including your's pascal) buttons.....??!!??lightbulb.gif totally blinged....i mean buttoned!!!!!....... hope Paris Hilton won't come after it!!!tounge_smile.gif

Dear Swaschand,

I'm glad that you enjoy the new task!
In one point I have to disappoint you: We only produce the top-3-buttons! But I think 3 individual Insider buttons will do the same thing for you as 54 ;) It's always the quality that matters - not the quantity :)

I am not at all disappointed Pascal... i did read in ur article tat only the best 3 would be produced and distributed by you guys.... but i'm planning to produce the others' contributions as well(as a personal project)...each one reminding me of each of my buddies here!! :-)

I like your design, too! Maybe 3-colors...just to jazz it up a bit. It´ll be a hard one to beat!

I am not able to load a file(button project image file). It says contatc ur system admin...Donot know why?

Could you please send us a screenshot (where we can also see the browser you use) of what happens when you try and upload it please?

We just tried to upload sthg. ourselves and had no problems.

I am sure we will find a solution! :-)
